6 cm of snow showing on the GEM in Chilliwack by 4:00am Friday. Not sold on this, but is interesting to note

Whats the best model parameter to see a potential atmospheric river? Is the 250 mb winds the best?

That frontal system advertised for Friday barely drops any precip over the Lower Mainland. In fact Friday looks nice and dry with sunny breaks with temps well into the teens. Looks almos a derecho being advertised. 100km/hr + southerly winds followed by very strong SW winds behind it. Meanwhile some very intense precip rates associated with a line of tstorms on Vancouver Island.
