Cool picture...be a great abstract art piece. Looks like my view of the plows around here, just flashing lights through the trees. We get dump trucks with plows on the front and salt/sanders in the back and graders. Being a small community, with a lot of roads, they use everything they have.

I'll watch tomorrow for the monster snow drift pic...assuming it hasn't vanished in the sw winds and rains.

I'm surprised you got that much... I just measured about 2 cm of new snow. I thought it was more than that by looking out the window.

If I can exceed 5 cm by morning that qualifies as a score by modern standards.

I did say 2-10cm.

l saw that grader @ 4 p.m. going eastbound near Lickman had traffic back up for kmh's.

Ya they were trying to scratch the pack of ice off the highway that the plea somehow missed... was a sheet of ice between lickman and the canal

Cant say the ECMWF isnt trying...Cold remains up North on our side of the globe which means the potential is there.

Just measured it again and looks like it actually may only be around 2.5 cm.

I remember a major bust l think it was Dec. 23rd 1997 forecast called for 30cm but not warming up it did snow approx. 30cm then turned to rain by noon the next day, very disappointing l recall.
