If the Euro verifies, YVR airport might be lucky to see even 10 cm.
It's called clown range for a reason.

I think ensembles aren't that reliable this close to the event... but I could be wrong.

Nevertheless, here is the 12z EPS as of Thursday 10am.

Yesterday predicted 10cm by Wednesday evening for @CanadaGoose and my area. Definitely on the lower end of what the models are showing at face value but more realistic with lower ratios and the potential transition to rain.

Despite a somewhat shocker of a euro run I remain fairly optimistic. 20-25 cm widespread with localized areas getting more, especially northern and eastern sections.

Can someone please explain why some snow falls are north of the Fraser specials and some are not?

Cold air damming against the mountains. Southerly flow is pushing the cold against the mountains and the heavy precip from upslope enhancement helps drop the snow level

Nice Score Iceman. My cabin in the Similkameeeeens got 13"+ 2 nights ago   when EC had 5cm forecast (for Princeton) with a SWS of a "burst of snow - heavy at times" overnight.
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

Keep the faith, snow lovers. There is so much uncertainty right now in the models.
