We will all go to sleep tomorrow evening and wake up Wednesday morning to a fall wonderland. Blowing rain and drifting branches and leaves with temps somehow near +8C.

1.8C with some light flurries here. My wife sent me a picture from her work in Mill bay. Some heavy bursts of snow there earlier

Take a deep breath. We're gonna be okay. If we're disappointed that we're tracking 4-6" of snow instead of 8-12" on November 29, the winter is going well.

Given the cold air trying to move in it would have been nice to see this storm make landfall around Forks. That would have given us our blizzard

18z is a bit colder than 12z just a bit dryer I think which is the part of the models to figure out. Cool down fairly quickly Wednesday afternoon.

18Z NAM going the way of the ECMWF. Less precip and a SE wind signature leading to milder near SL along western sections but colder in the Valley. Very much an elevation event now.
