Snowfall warning in effect for:
Malahat Highway - Goldstream to Mill Bay
Snowfall with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm is expected.
When: Tuesday afternoon until after midnight.
Hazards: Heavy snow will result in slippery roads and dangerous driving conditions.
Remarks: A low pressure system approaching Vancouver Island on Tuesday will spread snow to most areas. Snow will begin over the Malahat Highway on Tuesday afternoon and then become mixed with rain after midnight. Total snowfall amounts near 10 cm are expected before midnight.
Weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
