If this cold gets going and is deep it would be a good ice cube for us to have a better chance at a white Xmas. Our cool water ocean pool is fading so it would likely help a lot. Hopefully there is a ton of snow at Manning Park to block access to the Smilkameen. People East of Hope all need lots of freezing rain.

Fairly uniform temps out there so far around the lower mainland and valley , mostly around -3° , with Burns Bog at -5° . Most dew points seem to be in double digits ,except West Van at -7° .

No big strong southwest low coming in or leaving. The winds will keep temps up and snow totals down. Newton will get the most snow because that’s where the worst tires are used.
