Man that slug of moisture down sound is doing it's darnest to lift northward but l'm afraid the increasing outflow will keep it at bay or shred any northward progrees so much for surprises to start off Christmas month. actually Another quick peek at the radar it looks more that area of moisture is just spinning on it self the northern edge is not advancing as much as the southern section looks more like a pin wheel that rotates back in on it self.

Probably that rotation l've been watching down south Weedy it'll take 24 hours to get here by then the cream on it will be all melted, wasted bun.

No doubt Wedder, seems to snow there even when it's not supposed to.
I had a good friend years ago he was the lighthouse keeper at Point Atkinson in West Van back in the mid late 70's when he retired he moved to Campbell River for that reason for a couple of winters, then had to
move back to West Van to be closer to family.

3km Nam is moving in that direction as well.

Happy Meteorological Winter day! Sadly GFS and ECMWF Ensembles are trending towards a more neutral/+ PNA to the middle of the month, but that means it will become negative again at Christmas!

3km Nam is moving in that direction as well.

Just completed the swim back to the pond in south Sardis with absolutely insane strong and gusty NE winds in Chilliwack with areas of blowing and drifting snow along Vedder Rd. south bound towards the pond l'm sure Evans Rd would have been worse as it's more exposed in certain spots it's -5c @ the pond in south Sardis. E.C. is going with barely any snow for the whole fraser valley. also l got buffeted again on Highway 1 from Abbs to Chilliwack in my tin can with moderate turbulence.
