East Vancouver Island - Courtenay to Campbell River
East Vancouver Island - Duncan to Nanaimo
East Vancouver Island - Nanoose Bay to Fanny Bay
Heavy wet snow with total snowfall accumulation of 5 to 15 cm.

Where: Malahat Highway, Lake Cowichan, Duncan, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Comox, Courtenay, Port Alberni.

When: Friday afternoon to Saturday morning.

Sub 0 here all day too. :shock: :shock: Can't remember what my high was, maybe -0.3, Sechelt high of -0.2c.

Overnight low, below -3c here, -4 c Sechelt.

And I still have snow!!! Not much but it's white and not melting. Plus is the stairs and deck are clear because what I hadn't shoveled melted before everything froze. :clap: :clap:

YVR down to -1.4 at 16:00 from -1.2 at 15:00. Looks like a subfreezing day there.

I think EC forecast of locally 2-4 cm in Metro Vancouver is actually pretty reasonable (compromise forecast, hope for #SURPRISES).
2025-26 season stats:

Season total: 0.5 cm and TWO traces!
Peak depth: 0.5 cm (01/07/2026)
