It is a beautiful night out there, cold, crisp and clear. I love the squeaking sound the snow makes when you walk on it when its cold out and the moonlight makes it sparkle. I still have over 30cm of the 40 that fell, lovely light powder.
currently -11.7 DP-12.6 it looks like I may get another 30cm out of the next one.

Which models are showing anything close to 10cm here?

The 00z CNIP, 00z HAWK and 00Z BNO?

The CNIP model has an extreme cold bias and it’s snow maps often output unrealistic outcomes.

Multiple reloads of arctic air and snowstorms on the 00Z GFS. But they are all in the clown range so throw it out.

The 0z NFS just came in though, it shows a massive ridge overhead for all December followed by nonstop pineapples until late February. Then a deep trough will arrive and bring 2-4 cm of slushy snowfall which doesn't last the day.
