No snow warning yet? Must be a real crapshoot whether it snows later

Re: December 2022 Forecasts And Discussions
No really...
The municipalities are probably spending tons of taxpayer money on "visibility" to compensate for their inaction on Tuesday. Every contractor in the city is on the roads today when we may only see slow accumulations topping out at 2-4cm, if that.
Looks like many people stayed home too.

Re: December 2022 Forecasts And Discussions
A dusting of new snow overnight. Really don't think there's going to be a whole lot with this event, unless both GFS and ECMWF have really changed their model guidance overnight. Plus the authorities are jinxing it by putting on a good show of preparing.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: December 2022 Forecasts And Discussions
Just checked WeatherBell. Neither the Euro nor the GFS have changed their tunes about moisture being extremely limited for us on this one. Seattle area looks to score another 5 cm or so (provided it doesn’t turn to rain).
