GEM and ECMWF are a touch too warm this week at the upper levels for sticking snow to SL. A pinchpoint in the trough with a developing North really cuts off much cold from venturing south for the foreseeable future.

Lots of Mountain snow this week though. :thumbup:
Really need to build that snowpack up.

Every cold snap, the usual characters there hype the living daylights out of it, then get mega-disappointed when it ends (as if cold snaps last forever or our climo isn’t what it is). Honestly, it was a darn good November. I got sticking snow twice! Most Novembers don’t even feature sticking snow once.

I've had snow cover for a week and its not even winter yet. A win so far this season.
