Although as we learned last week, GFS not backing down ≠ GFS is right.

None of the other models were giving a chance for Seattle picking snow. GFS was right. I am not saying it will snow. Fascinating to see what happens. NAM is on GFS side.

Something to observe… I believe this is now the new 16.3 version of the GFS. Will be interesting to see how it performs with these types of close call setups.

The Nam and gfs always seem to have very similar outcomes. I always assumed they had similar algorithms or were run off the same data input

Goofus colours the model maps any way he wants.

Gallant colours them according to actual meteorological data.
It's called clown range for a reason.
