Yes your correct Ms. Meltedsnowcreeks it's dark without the snow on the ground that's one thing l miss once it melts last week was nice and bright at night with snow on the ground.

Hopefully it'll surprise us with a repeat!

Depleted snow cover at the pond in south Sardis, it's currently plus 2c with very light rain falling it's a drizzly mizzly morning in the central valley.

A TR @ best El Nino the great believe me the precip that fell at my work down near Sumas in Abbs wasn't even enough to fill a thimble what a horrible job E.C. continues to do at forecasting it actually makes me sad better technology better access to maps and models but all automated has made it a disaster.
Growing up much better forecasts with actual humans analyzing data. Does anyone remember the weather ship Papa? it was positioned out in the Pacific. Off the NW coast of Vancouver Island what a shame it was moth balled by the Liberals in 1981. here's a write up on it l found.

I think EC should put these into our forecasts when it is marginal snow/rain:
5-10cm snow (or 1-2 cm of slush if it isnt cold enough)

Phantom snow tends to show up well on webcams. I can assure you it is +6 and raining there.
