Have tickets to an abby Canucks game but won’t go if the highways will be in the same shape as they were two weeks ago by ~11pm.
It won’t be anywhere close to that event. Should be okay.

Smelling a cold holiday season. Ensembles continue to look interesting with persistent blocking.

Agreed. However, models continue to be inconsistent. There remains a lot of uncertainty on the exact position of the ridge and trough, which has major implications on the pattern. We could end up with a chilly NW flow, a dry backdoor arctic blast, or a classic arctic front with snow.

skating on the Fen next weekend? Too bad I will miss it. I might have to take off lunch and WFH on Friday and see if the ice is good enough.
Why not try cycling to work, grocery store, anywhere!

I wouldn't even worry about it at all. I don't see much of any snow at all.

EC is saying just plain rain and temperatures steady at +4 overnight for Metro Vancouver and a little cooler with a chance of slushy rain in Abbotsford.
