There remains a lot of uncertainty on the exact position of the ridge and trough, which has major implications on the pattern. We could end up with a chilly NW flow, a dry backdoor arctic blast, or a classic arctic front with snow.

After years of watching the models I've given up as it seems like even 48hrs out seems to be a challenge.

Thankfully, it’s raining. If it were snowing, I would find missing out on that to be quite unpleasant.

Someone posted awhile ago it was damaged by a lightning strike apparently Mr. East of the Whack man.
Any flakes in yoir area lately or are you suffering like the rest of us bottom feeders down at the valley floor?

I don’t expect anything more than slushy rain to come of it, but it would be a hoot if for once the Goofus verified when it came to a marginal snow forecast.
