At least the models were fairly accurate with this event within 48 hours..although still showing more snow and colder temps than what occured. The models struggled again! Mtns look amazing im sure though

I don't even know the elevation up there anyone know? I'm thinking 600ft at top.
It looked nice as it fell, but never go to bed on falling flakes as they tend to magically change to rain! No new snow and more melt to report.
Eastern hillsides chilliwack.

The 6Z went goofy, keeps us entertained at elast. But the EPS last night has me feeling a little less optimistic.

That's like the old saying never go to bed angry but reversed weather wise around here means expect rain in the morning. :x
I'm starting to see a dry pattern take shape l don't like it. Cold bone dry weather is no fun maybe for some but action with it is the fun part.

The more l think about the collapsed highway sign in Chilliwack, l think there designated to fall that way in the event of strong winds.
I recall in February 2019 the insane outflow we had during that unprecedented and probably will never happen again Arctic outbreak seeing a highway sign in Abbyville folded the same way west bound exit to Mission l think it was the Sumas border times sign or one before it that would do serious damage if they blew on to the highway for sure. It's up to plus 3c @ the pond in south Sardis and raining.

The models are absolutely lost right now, I don't think I can call this a trend. The same thing happened in 2017 when we were hit hard. Here's is the Gem.

That’s good as it has been scientifically proven that staging shovels and salt for use scares the snow away.
It's called clown range for a reason.

The GFS and GEM do both get there. But its a toss up situation right now IMO.

Yes — deep into clown range. But at least there are plausible chances in the air.

In the short range, EC is calling for a high of 7˚C both today and tomorrow, which if the rest of the forecast holds would easily be the warmest temperatures of the coming week. So what’s preoccupying me now is if all of that nasty, dirty lingering snow in piles will be gone by tomorrow evening or if some of those piles are going to be with us for the foreseeable future. I’m squarely on Team Pineapple on this one: fresh new snow is pretty but not this stuff. Let’s be gone with it and start with a clean slate later.
