The rain has really picked up here in Coquitlam the last couple of hours. Burke guage at over 31mm storm total and over 70mm monthly total so far. These intermittent downpours loud on the roof remind me of the Philippines.

Interesting C79, back in 2005 May I took a trip to Singapore it was dry season there so I didn't get to experience the thundery monsoonal season they get come the fall not sure if they come in from Malaysia or Indonesia probably a combo of the two. Did get to hear a crack of thunder in the afternoon once. and saw some nocturnal lightning from afar. I'm at 6.7mm since midnight and 38.9mm for the month :o I'm sure Abby Sr. is close to my readings since moving hear we are similar for some reason.
