With that much cold air spilling out over the ocean, you are bound to get some sort of surface feature to drop some snow. :flakey: :flakey: :flakey:

The 00Z GEM shows big cold but it's very dry so not much if any snow. But I guess we will take what we can get around here.

Yup and you made a good point that with the cold spilling into the ocean we could easily see a surface low develop. Lots of snowy potential if the shown pattern verifies. :flakey: :flakey: :flakey:

With how the 00Z GEM ends, if we get some snow, it isn't going anywhere by Christmas day even if the block begins to breakdown.

Yeah GFS is decent. Flurries with the arctic front followed by cold and very dry due to the E/NE flow... Outflow would be ripping with :anus: downsloping winds after a few days.

It even wandered over towards Ms. Creeks house then thought about it and headed back to Nanaimo.

Completely forgot we had back to back then too!

Edit: We also had back to back the past two years as well. 2020 and 2021. Would be pretty rare to get three in a row.

So is it supposed to start cooling off even more beginning late next weekend? I've been pre occupied to really look over the models it's to the point what to believe anymore.
Makes you want to walk away and come but mid week or something it's frustrating indeed.
I may have to take back what l've said about E.C.'s forecasting skills these day's if this is what forecasters are working with these days, very poor and inconsistent models.
