It shut down KSEA when it happened there in January 2012.

I'm not a football fan, but I don't think you should spike the football when you're down 65-0 in the first quarter

"He lives in the mud room."

"He lives in the mud room but it is OK for him to come into the family room temporarily to be petted."

It was not long before he had the run of the house. I then left for college, and returned for the holidays to notice an extra place set at the table.

"Who's coming over for dinner?"

"Nobody is coming over for dinner. Why did you think that?"

"You set six places at the table, not five."

"That's Smokey's seat."

Yes, he literally ate his meals at the table, sitting in a chair, with the rest of the family.

Amazing cat! And parents.
It reminds me of those velvet dog paintings of them sitting around a table eating.

PortKells wrote: Mon Dec 12, 2022 8:24 pm We actually have two, they are brothers. And they're about 6 months old. Absolute cuddle fiends, like we got them to live outdoors and hunt rats and mice but they're about 70% indoors due to how amazing they are. Unfortunately they've got cones on now but they still seem happy somehow.

Cats are the best.
6 months old, they're crazy at that age.  The worst is when they race over top of you in the middle of the night, my current cat and his sister would do that and if I closed my door they'd crash head first into it waking me up anyway.

This is the absolute best rat trap. My cat for all his size specializes in voles...and small mice. I'm catching the bigger hard to trap rats in it and you can catch up to 21 according to the info. https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/mult ... ml?loc=plp

Funny thing had street smarts do you find black & white cats have an attitude.?
He definitely does have an attitude. He'll kick the dog out of her chair and she's lab size.

And very smart. He learned by observing that the swinging doors leading into the living room had no latch, and that if he stuck his paw under them and extended his claws, he could open the door. That is how he stopped being excluded from the living room and achieved the full run of the house.

He also learned that birds would knock themselves unconscious by flying into the living room picture window, so his preferred method for “hunting” them was simply to doze under the a nearby tree until the opportunity for an easy snack manifested.
It's called clown range for a reason.

20+" of snow for YVR and 40+" (really, check the maps, I am not making this up) for SEA on the GFS. Totally believable.
