I've seen it before but if you just looked at radar this week you'd think we were in a mild on shore flow interesting indeed.
Thought I saw a little vort max sliding down the island. That would do it. Not much outflow reaching over here this afternoon. Had a high of -0.1C.

I might get lambasted for this but is it....too cold? I mean it is bone chilling out there. Even last year I didn't feel this cold to the bone. Went to the Christmas market and quickly realized I was underdressed.

Tomorrow is going to be insane.

I reached -9.8C this afternoon and -10.5C yesterday afternoon, so it has warmed slightly.

I'm skeptical tomorrow will be only -11C, especially with sun forecast. That would be darn impressive.

l remember growing up Abbs Sr. they would say low of 20f high of 38f it was precise not sure how accurate didn't really track that at 8 years old then l believe early 70's perhaps before metric they'd say low near 25f high near 40f, then they went to lows between 30f to 35f highs 40f to 45f just weird combos l can remember.

Feels inevitable that we go into a wet pattern after this for 2-3 weeks and get a pattern reset. Hopefully gulf of alaska ridging returns by mid January.

Hmm,not too sure, I use whole grain bread , and strictly use maple syrup for waffles, pancakes, and Greek Yogurt. But you never know.
