There’s definitely now more than just a few hints in the models that the recent trend of dud Januaries followed by good Februaries is going to continue this year.
If February gives even half the snow that December did, it will end up being quite a good season for lowland snow.

Average high of 9.4c so far this month at YVR. Even by modern January standards that's right up near record warm territory.
