Yes I been getting logged out as well just ha ent complained about it. But you make a good point. It is painful having to log in every time. I know Stuffman is busy so i digress

Looks like I'm using the same url you're using, but the top of the page shows "phpBB" instead of "BCStorms". Plus I get logged out all the time when using a phone.SouthSardiswx wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 5:17 pm You should see this.

Re: January 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
We got zero snow during the early February 2014 cold snap. It was colder and snowier further south. Just like the early December 2013 cold snap, Oregon got slammed.PortKells wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 5:20 pm I hear you. It is hard to get hyped up after having 50 cm of champagne powder just over a month ago. But I think this one could overperform, at least in terms of length. Too soon to say if the block disintegrates. Thinking of 2014, we didn't get snow at first but in the end we probably ended up with more than our southern neighbours.

This is the correct url everyone should be using. Everyone should see the phpbb logo.Typeing3 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 4:15 pm I don't see the BC Storms logo at all. This is what it looks like for me:

Re: January 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
Sorry it's so frustrating. I would try to help but I really have no access to any part of administrating the domains or urls. That is 100% stuffy's personal access so he needs to look into it.
I can imagine how annoying it must be.
I do not have this issue using firefox on a windows PC. I do not use the forum on my mobile phone so I do not know if this problem would occur.
My guess, is there is something wrong with the domain settings, or the cookie settings or both. Perhaps the domain forwarding as well. People on the wrong domain may also be getting pushed to one of the other urls when a page refreshes thus being logged out, since technically they wouldnt be logged in on the other site. When you have 2 domains, even though they are similar, even if one letter is off, or even if one is secure and one is not, the cookies can get messed up, and since staying logged on depends on cookies, this will cause issues.
Then there is the issues of browsers themselves and security settings. If you choose not to accept cookies or you block cookies, then your browser will not store your session and will log you out after you are idle for a short time. This is something you need to check on your ends. Using browsers like brave or some other security software like ad blockers, or malwarebytes can even cause this. You would need to add this site to your safe sites list.
Getting booted out of a logged in site is always related to cookies, either from the server side (the forum) or the user side (the browser).
In this case since so many people seem to have this issue I think it has something to do with the dual web addresses and the forwarding. That is where stuffy needs to start the troubleshooting. Disable the forums.bcstorm.ca domain (The one without the (s) in the url) and make sure everything and the settings within the forum are all using forums.bcstorms.ca ONLY.
Then correct a cookie problem on forum side if there is one, or some other issue.
Could also be a problem with/from the host which they might have to track down and fix.
Whew, this is all kinda hard to explain.
Stuffy, let's do it!!

Don't think it's a desktop issue. Just mobile.Rubus_Leucodermis wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 9:47 pm I do not have it with Firefox on either Mac or Linux.

Which makes it more odd. Why only mobile? Unless the mobile browsers somehow block cookies?
