I still remember in 2018, it was nice and warm, 9 or 10 degrees on a mid-February afternoon. It was even 4 degrees until very late at night, hope seemed lost, then the arctic front swept in and the temp plummeted 4 degrees in 20 minutes and we got 5 cm of snow. Then a few days later we had a late Feb snowstorm and I picked up over 20 cm IMBY.

Anyway my point is, you can have your warm, as long as I get another sharp arctic front.

Snowing nicely here. Currently 0.9C and hope it will drop a bit further in order to keep the white stuff last longer. Probably it will be washed away by the rain overnight though.

Ok how about an arctic front with a line of severe thunderstorms along it?

Deal?

Snowfall warning in effect for:

Sunshine Coast - Gibsons to Earls Cove
Sunshine Coast - Saltery Bay to Powell River
Snowfall with total amounts of about 5 cm is expected.

Locations: East Vancouver Island and Sunshine Coast.

Time span: Now through Wednesday morning.

Snowfall accumulation: 5 cm except higher over higher terrain.

Remarks: The recent cold weather has primed the south coast for low elevation snowfall. As a low pressure system offshore continues to draw in moisture tonight, snowfall will continue over East Vancouver Island and Sunshine Coast until Wednesday morning.

The snowfall accumulation will be highly variable and dependant on precipitation rate, temperature, and location. Current forecast guidance suggests the potential for at least 5 cm of snow with locally higher accumulation over higher terrain.
What!!! Where did that come from???? Good thing someone is paying attention   Thanks for the heads up, it wasn't there last time I checked. And the picture just because it looks so pretty
