- Tmin of -14 at YVR and over 100 consecutive hours below -5
- widespread 25-40 cm of snow from a single storm
- generally 50-80 cm of snow for the season for forum members
- epic Christmas season last year as well
- 2 years in a row where peak snow depth reached 30 cm for many/most of us
But sure, tell me there wasn't much to be excited about.
Exactly. And we could easily get another dump of snow, padding this season’s totals even further.
We are now due for a string of Niño winters in which we will look back fondly at this winter and the previous one as the good old days.

Yeah I don't get it. These last two winters have beaten the crap out of so many of these trash winters in the last 30 years. Do people not remember 2009-2016? Or 1999-2005?

This is his shtick, He will say winter sucks here then post about how it's so much better in the silkameens. Then he will say oh wait it's going to snow here and we are just negative people.
Not sure how anyone doesn't know this lol
As for the winter, Back to Back white Christmas? We struggle for years without one so I'm happy.

30 years ago... the last time we had a cold January...
Very windy here and 6.5c. Nice and warm inside because I'm making maple syrup on the woodstove...also I was up most of the night and kept the fire going.
New arrivals at 5:30 am.
