I'm not sure why, but I found that clearing my cookie data fixed the invalid form submission error. I also fixed that other strange error that popped up yesterday this morning.

Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
I tried t post on the forum on the weekend, and just about SNAPPED because of the error. I can't remember what I wanted to even say now. LOL
I was feeling sorry for myself but then I listened to a Scott Adams podcast and realized it could have been worse.
He went to go buy a rug at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and forgot the coupon, so drove home, fuming mad that he forgot it since he had reminded himself 50 times not to forget it. He's rich, but must be a bit OCD or something because wanted to use it.
When he got the rug and was in line at the checkout he realized he had forgotten the coupon in the car so got out of line and went to the car to get it. When he got back, fuming mad and frustrated the line was super long. Eventually they opened up a checkout and asked him to come over there since was next to be served at this point, but he had the big long rug sticking out well beyond the front of the cart so he was bumping into things trying to avoid people as he got out of line to get in the new line. Everyone was staring at him at this point. LOL.

Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
Is this currently a rain shadow or is something else at play? Because radar doesn't look like a classic rain shadow but there's heavy rain on the North Shore and nothing south of the Fraser.
Someone with understanding of what's happening in the sky shed light on this please.

Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
Am working from home today and it is not raining at all IMBY at the moment. Yet when I look north, the mountains are totally obscured, which is consistent with heavy precipitation. Odd pattern. Surface wind is fairly strong out of the SE at YVR, so perhaps upsloping is involved?VanCitySouth wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 10:00 am Is this currently a rain shadow or is something else at play? May be a while. Turning a raster graphic in to a vector one can be non-trivial.stuffradio wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 2:47 pm I gave weather101 my email. Once I get it emailed I can upload it

No worries Glace, could be alzheimer's or a form of confusism that's when you keep saying to your self don't forget what to say or do that you get to the point you totally forget.Glacier wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 9:28 am I tried t post on the forum on the weekend, and just about SNAPPED because of the error. Try pasting sticky notes l found that works or telling a friend so they can remind you. I
did that before it doesn't work as they forgot too.
Chances are it'll come to you in the summer Glace then by then it won't matter anyways.
Hope that cheers you up and a big family hug works when feeling depressed.

Nobody's forcing you to live here.Hawk wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2023 7:40 am I mean lets face the facts here. 2023 has started out like a complete disaster winter weather wise for us. Total lack of cold/snow...looking like from Jan 1 to Feb 15 at least. I mean we could even add graupel/slush/window splats and chunky rain to that. Waf joooooke!

Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
The 12Z GFS has made the clown range cold snap much milder. Lows are only about -3 or -4 on the 12Z.

Fun fact about the Similkameeeens is that you aren't far from the tallest tree in the province of 5 different species....
