Don't forget the copious amounts of rain and mountain snow this is showing prior.

Nudge a little East with a stronger SE ridge then you got something big.

But this at least looks prime for late winter thundershowers with more over water trajectory.

The GFS seems to think we are getting snow this week in Surrey.

I agree but ensembles have it a little closer to us and I trust them until about 5 days out. We will see...t storms would be fun too.

If it looks too far west one time, too far east another time, I think that's a good sign. I'm thinking we will most likely get some amount of snow out of this. Too far out to say how much and how long but I like our chances as it stands.

What do you think Typeing man? I'm smelling some cold onshore flow with 500ft snow levels and then a few cool dry days. Of course, I continue to hope I am way off the mark.

Agreed, looks that way for now. Seems as though the models are hinting we could see some continental influence for a couple days at least. One positive is it's not looking backdoor so chances for some snow is definitely there. Still too far out though. As usual, best to track snow when it's within the 96hr period otherwise it's probably better to flip a coin.
