Light flurries started about 10am, heavier snow around 2pm. Took awhile to start sticking but now it's game on, absolutely puking snow right now.

I was originally thinking close to 15 for Shawnigan but had been slowly reducing expectations closer to 10, thinking moisture might be pretty limited. The column cooled pretty quickly with onset of precip. -0.2C at YYJ. -0.5C here. -2.1C on the Malahat. I’ll go with 5cm YYJ. 10cm Duncan to Cowichan Bay. 12-15cm Shawnigan Lake.
North end of Shawnigan Lake. Southern Vancouver island. 500ft
