11 cm at 11 pm, started around 10:30 so almost 1 cm/hour.
Temp just rose to +0.1c from being 0.0 most of the afternoon. dp dropped to -2 from -3. Sechelt is +0.8, dp - 1.3c
Windy too, big blobs of snow were flying off the tree.
It's warming up out there. Will it all melt by the morning?

Snow intensity has definitely picked up in the past 10-20 minutes. I'd say it's solidly in moderate territory now. Flakes still pretty small though.

It's windy too now. I think Monty mentioned a low forming offshore enhancing precip around midnight to ovnite for YVR, bang on with that it seems, because wind is evidence of a more organised pressure centre.

Moderate to heavy snow with very fine flakes since around 6:30pm, currently -0.2C and roughly 5-6cm accumulation so far. If it keeps the same kind of flakes for the rest of the event, don’t think I can reach the target of 10cm.

Snow has been light but steady here. About 6cm. I’m guessing my original prediction of something around 10cm will be close. Just haven’t been able to get any heavier rates with this setup.

Looked like there was about a 4hr window for heaviest rates. Roughly 11-3am or 12-4am. Give or take, depending on location.

Awesome. Four more hours of this and we're definitely solidly in an A winter. I believe with 10 cm at 11 PM I already surpassed last season.
