Wikipedia says the EC standard is to clear the board every 6 hours, too.
Usage in Canada is similar to that of the United States, with some minor differences. The board is checked every 6 hours at the synoptic hours of 12Z, 18Z, 00Z and 06Z. The depth of snow on the board should be checked in several different places and an average depth obtained rounded to the nearest 0.2 cm (0.08 in).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snowboard ... ogy)#Usage
It's called clown range for a reason.

Nice. I got a new canon myself, unfortunately my skill doesn't seem to match the gear yet.

What do you think ec should do. SWS or excessive heat warning?

EC already has the heat warning up.
Environment Canada notes that the late afternoon to the early evening will be the hottest part of the day with temperatures reaching up to +10C.

The heat wave is expected to last through Sunday evening with a "slow cooling trend" expected by the overnight.

Remember to stay hydrated during the heat wave and to avoid strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day. You can also take a cold bath or shower to cool down

50cms, beautiful sunny skies now. Thankful for the quad with plow doing driveways because it is over my knees.

EC did call that. Nothing in South Delta yet, but some pretty dark clouds around. Would love an intense hail storm.
