For what it’s worth, Cliff Mass’s baby shows a west-focused snowfall pattern, too.

As per usual, 90% of our snowfalls come when it’s dark. We didn’t get much snow during the day today, but what a treat actually get to see some flakes during daylight hours.Weather101 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 27, 2023 9:29 pm What time will the snow fall? Oh wait we will be sleeping![]()

I don't think there's much overnight. Most models have a round starting right before drive time.Weather101 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 27, 2023 9:29 pm What time will the snow fall? Oh wait we will be sleeping![]()

Nice and toasty here in the banana belt as it has remained cloudy and a slight S wind. 1.0c, dp 0.5c.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 27, 2023 9:00 pm 0.0C
Wasn't kidding about seeing the moon. There are clear breaks out there and temps at the surface are dropping as a result. Any snow overnight will not have any trouble sticking.
No ice; all surfaces are wet.

Re: February 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
We lost Monty. His area looks like it's just been getting nuked and will continue to do so for the next hour or two. Maybe he picked up some more snow clearing jobs right now?
Just dead in Langley. Radar is clear.
All out west..AS THE MODELS SAY!!!!

We're at the time of year where it's better to see snow at night for greater accumulations. Difficult for it to stick during the day.Weather Dude wrote: ↑Mon Feb 27, 2023 9:32 pm As per usual, 90% of our snowfalls come when it’s dark. That’s true, but I’d personally trade in much of the accumulation in exchange for seeing heavy snow fall in daylight.
