It's fun for weather nerds, but seriously if Winters are that important to you you need to make a choice about where you're living. Most people have bigger concerns🤐

Dramatic lighting of a snow shower over the North Shore at sundown today. Snow is about 8" deep on untrod grassy areas.

Side streets are definitely developing that shiny gloss to them this evening. We'll have some slick roads in the morning.

Edit: down to 0.4c

Already overperformed here, EC calling for low of +2 currently 0.4c in Sechelt.
Still have about 14 cm of snow on the ground and it now has a crunchy crust on it. EC calling for +5c and showers tomorrow, wondering if I'll add to my 14 cm or if it will all wash away. :?: :?:

I realise now I didn't upload the version with the most striking colours. That's the problem with thumbnails.
