Will we get Smarch weather? Signs are pointing to yes! Welcome to the first month of Spring! We'll have some lawn mowing contests soon enough.

The GFS continues to show no new logo in sight. The ECMWF is in agreement. The GEM is the lone model showing a new logo in clown range but it's an outlier given the circumstances.

Stray flurries this morning on the hill. A dusting must have fallen overnight as there is new snow on top of all shoveled areas. More tonight? EC seemed to have toned down the chances in the forecast but SWS remains.
Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..

Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

Not gonna lie I'm down with the warming trend. This has been a good enough winter that I'm completely satisfied and ready for something else soon...as long as it's not an early season heat wave.

Really marginal with 925mb temps near 0C. Now thinking 200-300m will be the cut off line for sticking snows.

Looks like it's cold rain the rest of the week into the weekend, potentially mixing with flurries at times.

That's my worry too Kells is a massive heat dome come summer yikes, l'm going to have a cooling plan ready just in case.
In the meantime this being meteorological spring now it was an A++ winter with snow on the ground to start March is one to remember indeed.
