GFS concurs, and one of my rules of thumb if that the Euro and the GFS both agree about something, it almost always happens.

YVR issues aside, data quality at EC overall have gone down the toilet in the past decade or two. I know we've discussed this plenty of times before but overall it's pretty sad.

Yes for future Glace and Cpt. Goose weather weenies the stats will have lots of errors. :shifty: at YVR and many not well maintained stations.
Growing up was very accurately recorded a YVR and other stations in B.C. now so much the missing data it's unbelievable.

Any guesses that we may have a upper top tier heat dome this summer?
I'm thinking close to 38c event for sure in the central valley. :x perhaps twice at least.

38ËšC is not really top tier in our changed climate. 40ËšC is the minimum for that.
