Re: March 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
Pretty much a dud last night everywhere except Hope/Squamish areas where the cold air hung around due to mountainous locations. Otherwise the snow level was way up there i guess. Even Bby Mtn struggled to get anything more than some slush it seems. EC still has lots more slushy chances over the next few days due to continuous troffing on the West Coast. Maybe some surprise snowfalls at night incoming over the next few days
Edit: Looked like even Squamish area missed out. Weird.

Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++

I was really thinking this one might come through because both the Euro and GFS said so (and it wasn’t just the precip type maps; the temperature maps checked out). Nope. My earlier thoughts about it being a Pornoman and Westwood special were correct. Oh well. Tomorrow night’s system should be a notch cooler.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Re: March 2023 Forecasts And Discussions
Yeah honestly I can’t tell what fell last night. No sticking new snow on the patio but I think there is slush.
Seems like it was just wet snow up here. Probably stuck to existing snow, which is still way up there. Hard to tell.

Burnaby Mountain @ 365 m..
Stats? Fresh out of those. But I win anyway. I got all the inches.

Awesome! What a great way to end the ski season! Too bad this weather couldn't come in January. It would be a super snowy month.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 02, 2023 8:08 am Models keep all the warmth out East while we see endless cold rain.![]()

Woke up to a nice 6cm this morning. Wind came and destroyed the beauty on the trees shortly after this picture.

I wonder where the temp spike will be today. Prolly W Rock. Already at 7c in the March sun due to high sun angles

We ended up with just a coating of white last night. ~1cm. Looks like the Malahat had around 3â€Â. Highway report said 9cm.
