Winter 2015/16: We had a cool/active December in 2015. Was good for the snowpack. Rest of the winter we torched, other than a minor a brush with snow one morning in January 2016.
Winter 2014/15: We had a cold snap in late November with a fairly sharp arctic front and some snow. Rest of the winter was an absolute crapfest.
That was it l remember the end of November 2014, l knew l hung onto something that winter it wasn't even meteorological winter.
76/77 stands out just after New Years l moved to Nanaimo stayed with sister/brother in law l went to school there for the rest of the year sometime in January 77 one evening it went from rain to snow about 10cm fell in Nanaimo l recall Vancouver recieved nothing maybe mixed l don't know what caused that event cool air damming? it wasn't Arctic air l still remember the street we lived on Jingle Pot road.
Welp this didn't turn out well just nothing left with a non lethal Arctic front it's kinda like it left it's cold air behind in the Cariboo not sure how accurate this map is or if that is the front it appears to be.

We had some heavy snow for a few hours on Saturday here. Officially Shawnigan lake recorded 8cm of Snow. That seemed like some generous measuring with snow melting as it was accumulating. I have it at 4cm here.
