Anyone noticed skunk cabbage this spring? The ones I saw in Stanley Park yesterday all looked very sad. Apparently they got really blasted by the late February cold snap.

I usually have some big ones around here and haven't seen any at all. I'll have to go take a closer look for them.

It’s a moody morning on the Sunshine Coast. I love the feel but I’m certainly looking forward to some less liquid sunshine on Wednesday.

Welcome to the Coast! Be sure to try out the cream filled donuts at Claytons. Today was pretty nice at least here in Roberts Creek but we do get more sun that some other parts of the Coast. Where abouts are you staying?

Well, unfortunately I’m here for no fun reasons (fasting for health reasons) so donuts are out of the question. However i usually have this bakery right beside there that has incredible peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, plus that coffee shop in Roberts creek same deal. Anyway I’m not obsessing over food or anything..
My family’s cabin is on thormanby island, between secret cove and the southern tip of texada. It’s a great place.

Fasting is no fun at all, going away is a great idea though. I've never been to Thormanby, I've heard it's lovely though. Enjoy the beautiful views and weather.

Yes it’s an amazing place. I’ve never been in the winter. Only last year during the second summer that was October. Thanks and enjoy the lambies!
Edit: here’s another for ya!
