Wonder what changed overnight that caused EC to back off on snow and raise temps for Friday?

Doyle is using the CMC ensemble from yesterday. Guess that’s what EC is using as well. I was thinking it’s less marginal for snow then this last system. But what do I know.

That was going to be my next question if the next system is packing more of a punch and apparently it is, we are going to need some good radiational cooling overnight as well as a bit of outflow to set us up for a decent event.IMO and they are calling for some outflow to begin overnight in the valley.

The nice thing about a snowy and cold Feb..is that when it does warm up with a Nito ridge, the temp will feel like it has jumped Eeeeeeuge. It can easily jump to 16c and sunny after this cold snap is done and feel like summer!

Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)

I thought there was talk of drying weather and moderating temps. I guess not now. Now I see how to delete the url when replying to a post.

I think things will begin to slowly moderate as we get into March, perhaps by week 2.
