Looks like our typical warm week in April that we get most years. Although, confidence still low. This is from CPC 6-10 day discussion yesterday.
"In the West, positive 500-hPa height anomalies are favored throughout the period leading to increased chances for above-normal temperatures, particularly in the Pacific Northwest. The transition to above-normal temperatures looks to be rapid, quickly transitioning from a cooler than normal pattern to warmer. However, there is a wide spread among the dynamical ensembles on the evolution of this pattern over the CONUS and confidence in the evolution of this pattern is low"

EC has backed off on some of the rainfall totals. Look at that big Olympic rain shadow. Well not totally dry but more of a mountain event. Interestingly parts of Howe Sound (west side above Port Mellon) that has 250mm totals. What a difference not even 20km makes.

It's been windy with some rain in the Creek but nothing serious for precip here. Port Mellon for some reason really gets the rain.

Pretty much a non-event out here. Some decent wind gusts this afternoon, but nothing much in the rainfall department.

13 mm over the past two days. About 50 mm for the month so far.
