Snow in June is a bad omen in Chinese culture. In BC it's just Junuary as usual.

l'll never forget the coldest max high in Vancouver in June going off memory l believe June 1970?? it only reached a high of 48f at that time readings were still standard measurements maybe Tjunuary can look that up l recall it was pouring rain we lived down near Kit's Beach then.
I can't recall the exact date l'm thinking before June 15th.

Remember July 1st, 2020? Extreme low Tmax... similar to today. Except that was even crazier since it was already July! Never want to experience that again... winter during summer!

A chilly high of 12.8c in Sechelt today, low wasn't much lower 10.7c. And it drizzled for a good part of the day, no real accumulation just an unpleasant day...and no snow to cheer me up. :(
