I will have to be more careful about mentioning that river with a funny long name that starts with an S.
Unfortunately, I plan to be travelling east on Highway 3 again at the beginning of next month.
It's called clown range for a reason.

I see the burn bans are back on again in SW BC. Probably a prudent move.

Re: July 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
What are the stats for rain/wind or snow storms in the Fall/winter during El nino? I have a feeling any snow we get would be front-loaded if we get anything this year.

Wetcoast91 in December 2023: That one AR in November barely made a dent in the forest fires still burning in the interior. Just hope this smoke goes away for the Christmas holiday but it looks like a massive inversion is coming with continued warmth for the higher elevations. At least my cactus plants are growing.

If we go into split flow hell as per usual El Niños, you could be absolutely right.wetcoast91 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 05, 2023 2:59 pm Wetcoast91 in December 2023: That one AR in November barely made a dent in the forest fires still burning in the interior. Re: July 2023 Forecasts and Discussions
Is it common for home weather station humidity and dew point readings to be inaccurate? I'm just curious because my humidity and dew point readings are often around 8-10C lower than YXX. My sensor is located in the shade. Maybe it's just microclimate but honestly, it feels a lot more humid right now than my station currently shows. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Thanks my friends.
