Really starting to come down out there. Up to 12.7 mm and counting for the day.
It's called clown range for a reason.

Outflow is shredding it to pieces. Looks like things will dry up by the time it calms down. A couple showers and straight back to 10C rain, I mean 30C sunshine. I’m moving to Brampton where the fire season is already over.

Warm day with temps hovering around 30-33c all across the hwy 1 corridor between Kamloops and Golden today with a mix of sun and cloud and local smoke in some areas. High top clouds just west of Golden produced some light showers and rumbles of thunder as the sun continued to poke through earlier. Similar conditions now with some gusty winds (I'd guess up to 50-60km/hr).

Pictures below are from Rogers Pass (between Revelstoke and Golden).

That is just an epic highway stretch. I’m a little jelly. Give me those mountains all day long.
