Yea. West Kelowna is in a bad spot right now. 34C 22% humidity and winds gusting to 50km. Not good. 🙏

Here's the plume just outside of West Kelowna. When we were in Kelowna last week, it was a week ago today we took the kids to hike at Bear Creek--a trail I hiked many times as a kid. Although a very small forest fire burnt through some of the trail back in 2016, if the winds continue into tonight, I wonder if much of the forest around that area will be burnt. Winds to shift to NW tomorrow, however, sparing the Bear Creek area if it doesn't burn, but putting other properties in danger.

I'm now at 31C. Just when I thought hitting 30C was pushing it, I end up with 31C. Cooler than yesterday but hotter than I expected. :sick:

2c cooler today. Only slightly noticeable. Hope tomorrow will be another 2c cooler.
