Just got this image from a friend in Westbank from their doorbell cam.

They must be on alert Paw print? BTW friends Westbank is called west Kelowna l guess they dropped Westbank and probably incorporated into the city of Kelowna at some point awhile ago.

It's currently 20c @ the pond in south Sardis.

Thursday has the potential to get ugly in the interior as some lightning moves through with very little rainfall.

I don’t know how much, if any, was caused by lightning, but I was really worried about Thursday a few days back.

Poor Lytton. That place just can’t catch a break. Under evacuation alert. The Kookipi creek fire has crossed the Fraser river and Highway 1 north of Boston Bar. This had been a smallish fire that started in early July and was classified as “modified response”. It just smouldered in wait for this weather event.

Ya it's got to be a helpless feeling no air support until daylight.
I mean what do you do ground crew city fire personnel hammpered as well.
The damn wildfire is right down to the waterline pretty much wow.

Geesh that's insane maybe the delay in building is a blessing maybe it's not to be.

Shuswap... spreading east..
Scotch Creek and the campground is at risk. Copper island is the landmass in the water for point of reference.

My bad actually there's still Westbank in Kelowna but l believe it's a smaller area to the south of west Kelowna.
