Live winds at the Kelowna airport show 320 degrees (NNW) at 26 knots (48 km/h). :|

Just got n95s and a replacement heap filter for the smoke tomorrow. I’ll be keeping my pets in too, unfortunately nothing we can do for the poultry and sheep.

We just got a couple more furnace filters too. Good luck with the livestock.

My bet is this will be worse than modeled. Very thick layer of smoke from the surface up to 10km :sick:

Major intrusion of wildfire smoke on Sunday morning shown on the high resolution model. Absolutely horrible air quality if it verifies. :sick: :sick: :sick:

At my folks' place on the base of the north slope of Mt Baldy in Kelowna where there is a forest. (It's a quiet neighbourhood that's kinda in Rutland, north Dilwoth and North Glenmore). This picture was a couple hours ago. Embers in the area now. My mom said the roads are plugged with people voluntarily evacuating.
