No mention here yet but the Shuswap fire is also out of control and jumped the lake putting the Hwy 1 on fire which is now closed. Scotch Creek may very well end up destroyed. West Sorrento is on fire. Brutal.

Stayed at a decent motel for 5 day's summer of 2004 in Sorrento could walk down to the beach on Shuswap lake was awesome went in to Salmon Arm did the paddle wheeler cruise on the Shwap and the water slides in town good times man.
