It appears once we start getting past Jan 1st we start loosing any chance of winter it seems as a kid growing up in Vancouver our best time for winter weather was the last week between Christmas and New Years or the first week in January.
But now it's over after Jan 1st Abby Sr.

Late November sun angles is the same as mid January. Then again, January sucks now so maybe that's a bad thing.
Is it just bad luck, a coincidence, or is there a scientific explanation as to why January rarely performs now while February often does way better than in the past? I'm really curious.

l don't think you can pinpoint the reason why perhaps it's a long cycle were in.
In the past it seemed the cycle for some weather events were shorter now it's much longer in-between if that makes sense.
