It's kinda windy out there..heard ferry sailings were cancelled this evening.
Good weekend to stay inside and watch some sports , cheer on your favourite team, Lions,Seahawks, Canucks, Kraken, Oilers..

At this rate if winds become violent skipper Gimpers there won't be any power to watch any of these events.
Probably end up playing checkers by flashlight We reached a high of 11c @ the pond in south Sardis and 11mm in the pond since midnight.

Just got home from Vancouver. Holy crap it's windy. The semis crossing the Port Mann were going extra slow and the wind was knocking my car around pretty good. Got into Surrey and power out all over the place but not at my place yet. It's flickering like crazy though. Tree branches and debri everywhere. This is a pretty wicked storm! I don't have a wind meter but some gusts must be hitting 90Km for sure.

Awesome Houndhair sure seems to be an active El Nino l thought we'd be in split flow he'll for weeks just a nice mix of some moderate AR's those insane rain showers last weekend in the central valley now this tonight perhaps bodes well for a little slush mush in December followed by a January/February spring. l'll take that as long as the Kancrackers are still playing well oh ya need some mountain snow. 🏔

Looks like the back end of the front approching mostly a wind event but here comes the rain. I've still got power at my work in Abbs down near Sumas.

Seeing a lot of lightning, and it's overhead so it's not a transformer. Yet no lightning showing up on the lightning maps.

It's got to be reflection from something it almost looks like when l lived in Port Moody when the cloud deck was low we could see the flame reflection from the oil refinery in Burrard inlet.
