Ah man it keeps getting milder next thing you know shorts and tees Tpal, this reminds me of 2015/2016 just awful.
We received 2.7mm in the pond overnight :thumbdown: it's currently 7c @ the pond in south Sardis.

Good memory Tsmart yeah l was in grade 12 that year l remember fondly just bare mountains in December did it get any better on the ski hills or was it just a complete write off? Actually this is similar to 76-77 ouch probably time to fork it soon.
yes 2015-16 at least the ski hills were open at Christmas l recall.

The ECMWF is showing a substantial weakening of the Polar Vortex in December. Maybe we can pull off a Sudden Stratospheric Warming this winter?

Let's set up a February 2019 pattern in January 2024. :clap: :D :wave: :wish:

Yep, 1976-77 was a complete write off for the entire Pacific Northwest... 2014-15 was similar.

2015-16 ski season wasn't as bad as we had a decent spell of cool/wet weather in December 2015.
