Easterly wind and marginal 925mb temps. I think we see flakes in the air on Saturday afternoon. Accumulations unlikely below 200m or so.

It usually does. It has 925mb temps sitting around -2c over the area with surface temps of +2c to +3c. So, I think accumulations are unlikely, but it’ll be nice to see some big fat flakes of wet snow falling.

00z Soundings.

Euro brings the freezing level down to 420m on Saturday afternoon. HRDPS has it at 145m a couple of hours later. As we know, it can snow well below the freezing level. Things to ponder.

Everyone drive to Catnip Hill or SFU Saturday to enjoy the December snow..maybe the only snow we get this month..or this winter? :shock:
Looking forward to our first 3 day stretch of sun and 20c++ 8-)
