Stands for "Lezak's Recurring Cycle". Was termed by Gary Lezak, a meteorologist in the midwest a few years ago.

The LRC basically dictates that overall observed patterns will repeat and cycle during the course of a winter season.

Weather Network has a maximum of 100mm forecasted for Squamish from Tuesday-Friday of next week's run. Any chance of this actually verifying, or is this just last night's GFS being overly bullish?

One of the models, the green line, is showing that we could drop to -10C second week of December. The blue line is going above 5C and the red line is fluctuating between 0-4C. I'm focusing on the green Control model though as the model I'm cherrypicking :)

Some potential as we get later into December, depending if/where that ridging sets up. As it stands, it needs to move West some.
